CPD Floor Hardener Pre-Mix (Premium)
The Stubbe’s Precast project located in Harley, Ontario is in the process of a large expansion approximately 18,500 sq. metres. The new facility will be home to the newest technology and innovation for the manufacturing of a wide variety of precast products.
Otter Valley Concrete was awarded the concrete floor finishing. They selected the CPD® Floor Hardener Pre-Mix (Premium), which was supplied by CRS (Contractors Rental Supply) Woodstock Branch, for the project. The product was ideal as it is pre-mixed; has superior strength; has good abrasive resistance; has good resistance to impact and loading and is non-rusting, which are all suitable for this interior application.
CPD® Floor Hardener Pre-Mix (Premium) is a factory blend of Portland cement and non-metallic floor hardener, and is ready to use. Once their concrete reached initial set they would broadcast the hardener on surface and power trowel into the concrete surface. The hardener provides a high strength, hard wearing surface for industrial and commercial applications such as the Stubbe’s Precast project. Other applications include: processing plants, water and recycling plants, warehouses, distribution facilities and suitable in areas exposed to abrasive and light to medium traffic.
